• Built in 1965, this hotel operated for decades under the name "White Sands", changes in ownership and management had the property under the name Ramada Resorts, then under "Celebrity Resort" and presently back to "White Sands".
  It has a typical central courtyard with a pool configuration surrounded by several buildings 3 stories high but without elevators. The total number of units is about 80 and most are studios with cooking facilities.
  Parking is available like is the case with most Waikiki hotels but very limited, please remember that hotels in Waikiki charge for parking.
  Common areas are small and include a pool and a Jacuzzi.

• There is a very friendly atmosphere in this hotel.
• Location is very central, only minutes away from the International Market Place and the beach.

• If you are looking for a modern hotel, this place is not for you.
• Even though the hotel only has 3 floors, the lack of elevators can be a problem if you mobility issues.
• Parking is not plentiful in any Waikiki hotel but this particular hotel has a especially small parking area, you may want to reconsider renting a car because parking is on a first come first serve basis and there is practically no street parking available nearby.
