• Built in 1965, this hotel operated for decades under the name "White Sands", changes in ownership and management had the property under the name Ramada Resorts and lately under "Celebrity Resort".
  It has a typical central courtyard with a pool configuration surrounded by several buildings 3 stories high but without elevators. The total number of units is about 80 and most are studios with cooking facilities.
  Parking is available like is the case with most Waikiki hotels but very limited, please remember that hotels in Waikiki charge for parking.
  Common areas are small and include a pool and a Jacuzzi.

• Location is very central, only minutes away from the International Market Place and the beach.

• If you are looking for a modern hotel, this place is not for you.
• Lack of elevators can be a problem if you decide to stay in this hotel, you may want to make a point to request a ground floor unit.
• Noise can be a factor considering the proximity of the pool area and the rooms.
• This buildings were not top of the line even when they were new over 40 years ago, as it can be expected, time did not help and for many it may prove to be too outdated.
• Parking is not plentiful in any Waikiki hotel but this particular hotel has a especially small parking area, you may want to reconsider renting a car because parking is on a first come first serve basis and there is practically no street parking available near by.
